Video games and play for kids in the hospital
1UP Kids Foundation is a Washington nonprofit that wants to bring a bit of normal life and joy back to children in the hospital, through games.
What we plan to do
Games at the bedside
Game consoles, handheld systems and games for children’s hospital units, so kids facing long stays can take a break, play with brothers, sisters and friends, and feel like themselves.
Grants for kids’ organizations
Support for nonprofits that serve children, especially those that bring play into hospitals and other care settings.

We’re just getting started and haven’t run any programs yet. When we do, we’ll share what we’re doing here.
